How can you get maximum battery life from your Droid Turbo? What is the longest your battery has lasted?

Did nothing special but I will tell you that careful selection of installed apps makes a world of difference.

Some apps seem to send the phone info a power hunger rage. I imagine they will improve as they're updated to better take advantage of the system and as we get the Lollypop upgrade.

Connect to WiFi when ever you can. Turn off Bluetooth, nfc, GPS and other services if you don't use them. Disable apps that you don't need. Limit background data sync. Lower screen brightness and keep your phone out of sun/cold temps.

In the end, unless you never actually use your phone, the screen will ALWAYS be the number one battery drain. I've been happy with mine set to auto, but the lower you set it the longer your battery will last.

Although the nice thing about the Turbo, and the #1 reason I got it, is that I don't have to worry about GPS, or wifi, or any number of other tips to save battery, because my battery will last me an entire day NO MATTER HOW I USE IT!

Now it's time to power off and charge it up to 100%..not too bad I guess...for living in a fringe area..

And you've taken the update?? If that one is giving you fits.. Which it sounds like.. I'd either do a fdr or return it for another unit..

I returned it today for a new one . Could not bring myself to switch to another phone I spent HOURS playing with other units - the Turbo IMO out performs everything else hands down. I HOPE this one performs the way I know it can.
I want this phone.

Are there any battery saver functions built into the Phone? My battery drops from 100% to 40% within two hours.

How long has it been doing that? That is way off. I went two(2) days having started at 95% and went on the charger at 28%

That's definitely not normal. My guess is that an app might be to blame. What do your battery stats say?

As for a battery saving function, I don't believe there's one built in. But Lollipop (Android 5.0) has one built in, so the Turbo will get a native one when it sees the 5.0 update.

I had one day where my battery went haywire (first phone) it was my "Command Center" widget. Ate my battery up. I did a FDR and I think that took care of it.

That is way, WAY off from normal. What do your battery statistics say are the top battery users?
