Same here...im guessing it updated. Im sure the ops will issue a new one when they get a chance..not too worried.

I have "blacked out" the 2.3.2 market. just lock for it in my section. I made it for the D1 but it may work for you guys???

Market updated yet again 2.3.3, I seen devildogs release but I cant get his working on my droidX. It installs and works fine on my d1.

I renamed the market update apk and haven't had a problem since.

Well if I really wanted to I could just uninstall the market updates and use the black market.zip but I want something more permanent. I'll just wait for DS 4.3 to arrive and be off and running with that again.

Seems to me that until you rename or delete the market update apk, you will continue to have the problem.

Hey just wanted to know. How do you rename or get the black market working again I was just futile im new to this as well. Gys.

I won't speak for everyone, only myself. What I did was using Root Explorer, I navigated to the /system/apps directory on the phone (not sdcard) and renamed the MarketUpdater.APK to MarketUpdater.APK.bak. This, in essence, froze the updater app so that it couldn't update the market to the nasty green market. I then installed the color of market I wanted. I've not since had a problem.

IF your market has been updated to 2.3.3. You could simply uninstall the update, freeze the MarektUpdater.apk by renaming it, and reinstall the market, color of your choice.

It really is that simple.
