Market wont let me purchase apps/licenses

So I'm running shiftao5p hack3d and market version 3.2.0.
I'm trying to buy a certain something and when I click on the price of the app to buy it, I get a msg saying 'error' that's all it says.
I rebooted my phone a couple times and still nothing.
Is it safe to uninstall the market and then reinstall it using titanium backup?

P.S. I can download free apps but not paid ones.
