Market wont download

I was able to update some things, then it just stopped downloading altogether
anytime my market craps out on me, I head on over to settings>applications and then choose "show all" at the top. I then find "market" and select "clear data".
Go back to the market, accept the EULA and it works fine..um, until the next time a few weeks later...lol

I'm having big issues also. UD1 has worked perfectly for a couple months, but now I'm getting strange bugs...
When I try to update ANY app, it comes up "Update of [app] unsuccessful." I've tried updating 15 different apps, all the same result. However, there are no problems when downloading new apps.
I tried rebooting; didn't help. I tried clearing the Market data + cache; no difference. This only started happening a couple days ago.
Help! I've tried so many ROMs already, why can't I find one that's completely bug free?!

I'm aware of that issue. I tried updating 15 different apps, none of them system or integrated apps.
To give you an idea, here are some apps I tried (and failed) to update: psx4droid, Zombieworld, Pure Calendar Widget, TinyShark, DroidForums tapatalk app, Astrid, aCar, SmartAss.
Not sure if this is a UD issue or unique to me, but it's definitely not a common one.

Well in that case, I'm not much help other than being a "marker" to let you know that mine does work. Except for LP cause I have yet to deal with fixing it. So we know if were talking about the same apps, in the last couple days my updates were (that I remember) Titanium Backup, Beautiful Widgets, NotCallLog and WordFued.

You know it's odd, I am having the same issue. It worked flawlessly until now.
I randomly loose connection to everything. Email, texts, market etc. Do a reboot and will be back up and running. The problems just started in the past week or so.
No changes have been made on my side. Once I found UD and a theme I like'd, I left it alone. No changes since the first week of installation.
this just started happening to me also. also sometimes itll pause my download and just stay like that. i figure its a wifi issue but when i turn it off it, it's still the same. one way i got it to work was leave wifi on and do the apps one by one. thankfully i keep my apps updated so i only have a few. if it say download unsuccessful or pause i just cancel the down load and try it again till it works. sucks but only way i found to update my apps. im probably going to clear out my phone like this post did to get out all the hidden crap that keeps bugging out my phone. Mine just started acting up today too. UD 1.0 had been working awesome till today. Not sure if it is a rom issue or not. Everything else works, phone, internet, text. Market loads but can't download or update any apps. Cleared market data, tried wifi, reboot but still the same. Looks like 3G is going in and out as the arrows keep dissapearing comepletely. Open to suggestions. Thanks

I finally fixed this problem by deleting the smdl2tmp1.asec file from the directory where apps are stored on the SD card (/mnt/secure/asec/) using Root Explorer.
I hope this helps anyone else with this issue.

Y,know? I don't know.
I am sure there is a command line to remove the file that seems to cause these market issue but I am not familiar enough with Linux to tell you.
It should be pretty simple I would think. (Prolly some other smart folks will let us know how)
FWIW, Root Explorer found the file and then I mounted R/W and deleted it, rebooted and everything works as it should.

I was having the same problem after I updated sapphire and a few more apps got this problem when I switched to UD 1.0.0 so it's nothing exclusive to this rom
To fix it, I downloaded Titanium Backup, used it to uninstall every program I had problems with, restarted my phone, and reinstalled those apps. You have to restart after uninstall or it won't work. Now all those apps update just fine
