Manage mp3s while Droid is mounted?

Does anyone know if its possibly to create playlists via my laptop (with the Droid mounted)? Is there a playlist folder in which the ones created on the Droid go, where I could just make one?

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're asking, but I use DoubleTwist on my laptop to create playlists for my Droid. It does an excellent job since I reserve it for playlists I use on my Droid as opposed to those on my iPod for which I use (of course) iTunes.

Takes a little while to set up if you have a lot of music on your computer. I have about 2500 songs on my laptop and put only selected playlists on my Droid.
