lost voice to text capability

I d/l the HTC keyboard from Droid-life and the voice to text worked great. Then I decided to root. It still worked after that, but I decided to go back to stock now I can't get voice to text to work, any thoughts?

I watched all of these videos a couple days ago, that's why I decided to rooted, but forgot about getting the voice back.
