Lost my music trying to add songs

Good day to all. New member, but have been reading the posts here awhile and have gained some awesome info. on my Eris. just tried to add some songs from my p.c and lost my original music. can someone please help or direct me to the right forum. Thanks.

Was storing it in a folder, but dont have access to that p.c anymore. Unless there is some kind of backup on my Eris, i guess i'm s.o.l
