is there a way to find my lost droid with out the application to find it i forgot to download it before i lost it and no i cant find it and there is no way to download the app obviously

No, but you can call VZW report it and have the phone disabled and the ESN listed as bad

You can try calling it and see if someone is honest and returns it to you.

I would call it and see if an honest person answers like hook said and if they dont i would call VZW and report it and get it turned off. You could try to backtrack yourself and check the couch and other furniture with cushions and checking the car, friends house, or anywhere else you have been. I wish you the best of luck finding it. While we are on the subject everyone what do ya'll think is the best android location app out there. I'm not tryin to hijack the thread just looking some opinions.

if you get it back, install lookout mobile security. it alllows you to send a scream command with is suppose to play a loud noise from it, allowing you to find it. i think there is also a GPS find feature with it. i have never used it, but i had an app on my blackberry which was very simular
