Lost Calendar Events

Just bought a Google Nexus and noticed my calendar wasn't synching with my Droid Bionic calendar. ALL entries on my Droid calendar were in BLUE. I checked the settings for the calendar and found a message that the calendar wasn't synched, so I changed that. I LOST EVERYTHING ON MY PHONE CALENDAR except for a couple future events. Both my phone and my Nexus have pretty much empty calendars. Can I get it back? I store all my business mileage on my calendar, history of appts with names and phone numbers, etc. So much information I desperately need to reference.

Was it the stock calendar app? Google Calendar, on the WEB?

It was the stock calendar that allows you to choose in settings what calendar your events are saved to, Google, outlook, etc. I had it set up to save to Google calendars. When I create an event my Google email address appears at the top of the event entry form. I would have thought when I set it to sync all my events would have uploaded to the Google Web calendar.
