Anyone know where they are stored? Can I just tweak certain elements of them?

Thanks!

I have no experience with tweaking them so I can't advise on what to do when you find them. But when they download and install on your device they can be found in data/app.

Strange. How are you trying to view it?

I have the phone USB'd on the comp in USB mode so I can see the Removable Media AND MOT sections in Windows Explorer.

That would be why you do not see it then. You would need to access that directory using a file manager on your phone.

Which one are you using and are you rooted? Not sure if you need to be, just asking in case.

Rooted, yes. Its just called "File Manager". I AM, just so you know, running the Eclipse ROM. Not sure if that makes a difference. Im an old iPhone modder, so I can get around. Im just ASSUMING these themes have .png files similar to the iPhone that I can tweak in PS and re-upload to the Droid??

I just tried "file manager" and even I couldn't figure it out. Try Root Browser Lite by Jrummy, I used that and found the directory no problem.

Cool, thanks. But there isnt a way to manipulate those files on a comp? At all?

I know there is but I would not be the best person to ask. I would think anytime you modify one of these apks you would need to sign them so they are able to be installed again but I have not messed with anything like this.

So, youre saying that I have to download the .apk, tear it apart, tweak what I want, and then rebuild it and install it? Hm... Are there programs to build .apk files for themes? Im so lost.....

Yeah pretty much. Android theming is pretty highly involved and I am definitely not the person to learn from, I just know some basics.
