Location notifications?

Does anyone know how to turn off the notices that pop up about every location I visit? I work on a lot of retail equipment and am tired of Google asking me to post or take a picture of every site I visit! I already have location history turned off, but didn't want to have to turn off all location services. Thanks!

From Google technical support;

Open the Google Maps app.
Tap the Menu > Settings > Notifications.To turn on a notification, check the box next to the notification.
To turn off a notification, uncheck the box next to the notification.
