linking your school email addy?

ive been trying to link my school email address on my phone and the phone isnt having it. What is different between hotmail and vccs.edu accounts???

incoming and outgoing servers and ports i assume.

you need to find your email client settings or what those servers are.

i know this isn't your vscc.edu account but this is how i set mine up...

My school uses an outlook we app. I haven't had success yet. I haven't been able to use it through outlook 2010, but I haven't connected anything through outlook 10...

If they are using exchange server then you'll need to set up a corp sync account. Corp sync is meant for use with exchange.

VCCS.edu uses Gmail's ports and information... I setup my VCCS account yesterday.

cannot get vccs.edu to work with my droid 2 global

Ive been trying to set up my droid 2 global email app to pull from the vccs server with no luck. Keep getting "unable to connect to Vccs".("vccs" is what i named it) Here are my settings, what am I doing wrong? has anyone got this accomplished successfully?

Another option is adding this account to existing gmail (from pc browser).. configure to send and receive with it.

"Verify Certificate" should be UNCHECKED.
