If you are still in the ROM game then you know LineageOS to be the new CyanogenMod. While the founder is no longer involved there is still a pretty healthy team of developers keeping this software up to date. LineageOS has now been merged with Android 7.1.2 and now includes the April Security patch. Several bugs have been squashed in the latest builds including a bug where extra tiles were draining battery. LineageOS 12.1 is now available on a handful of new devices including HTC One M9, LeEco Le 2, LeEco LePro 3, LG Optimus L90, Yu Yuphoria, Yu Yureka, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 LTE. There is also now a Monthly LineageOS infrastructure costs wiki page to let donors know exactly how much it costs to keep their favorite ROM up and running. If you use roms you may want to consider donating. Even if you aren't using the Rom directly your current rom probably uses Lineage as its base. I would be interested to know what percentage of our readers are actually still using roms.
