Light sensor on Droid?

Hi all.

Doesn't the Droid have a light sensor that turns off the screen when talking on it so you don't accidentally push onscreen buttons with your cheek while talking?

Thanks
B

Yes. Top right corner. There have been some reports on here about long hair affecting the sensor's ability to work though.

Actually it has a proximity sensor for that purpose in the upper left when facing the screen. The light sensor is upper right for when you use the auto brightness feature.
