Liberty Help :(

Im hopeing you guys will be able to help me get my phone back working. So today i bought the Liberty Toolbox Donate app and originally started from latest Froyo so then i downloaded and installed Liberty 2.0.1 i beleive then went to Liberty 0.1 and the problem came up when i tried to update to 0.3 it appeared to install perfectly fine but now the phone just sits the at the Liberty screen for as long as i leave the phone on. Ive tried getting into recovery thats a no go only thing that will work is if i take the battery out and hold camara button and down vol. and pop the battery in then the bootloader will pop up.

Any help would be awesome i really didnt wanna have to sbf the phone since rds lite doesnt like my Win 7 64 bit

i would like to get back on Gingerbread so if i do have to sbf then im open to suggestions on how to skip over 0.3 this next time

Oh and i did make backups and wipe data and cache every time i flash the phone today.​

Oops was trying to sbf the phone and it failed cuz the battery was low. When ever i put it on the charger it goes to the liberty screen and sits there not the battery like normal i hope its still charging...

RSD lite works fine on my Win 7 64bit. You will need to let it charge for a while.
SBF back to stock froyo
Root and reload bootstrap
Download liberty toolbox
Make sure you go ahead and download liberty gb full install v.1, v.5 (not full install), 591 kernel update
Boot into clockwork
Wipe data and cache
Install full install v.1
Reboot
Install bootstrap
Boot into bootstrap
Install v.5
Install 591 kernel after v.5 finishes
Reboot and you should be good.

Of course you do all this at your own risk

well now i guess i got a major problem the phone wont charge at all when on the charger it just sits on the liberty screen.

You may need to find someone with a battery. Or find some way to charge yours. Good luck! I want to go to gingerbread liberty from Liberty 2.0 soon. I'm just waiting a little longer

You need to either find another battery, another person with a og droid/d2/dx/d2g/BB Storm (yes, uses the same battery) and use their phone to charge, or get a wall charger (one that the battery comes out of the phone and you place the battery directly in the charger). The battery will no charge while in bootloader mode.

This is where an extra battery comes in handy. 5 bucks on amazon. Works great. I hope you get it worked out. I know the freak out feeling.

Actually the D1 has a smaller battery than the DX i have an external charger for a D1 battery. Just when i realized my battery wouldnt charge i called verizon but they were closing at 7pm. :huh: Gonna try all the stores around me today till i can find a external charger gonna suck being at work and actually having to work not play on my phone all day
