Liberty Froyo/OTA?

Hey guys, quick question. If I'm on Liberty Froyo (aka I haven't updated to any of the GB nightlies yet), what steps do I have to take to get the OTA update to GB from Verizon? Do I have to sbf back to 2.3.340 or whatever or is there someway for me to just load Verizon's Froyo firmware? Thanks in advance!

This is what I did.

i took the ota and it froze up, black screen, all i could see was the notification bar. Screw that.

1-I sbf'd back to froyo.
2- Rooted using z4, installed the leaked update from p3. Found on mydroidworld.

3-used droid2 bootstrap and flashed the two files, 1, then 2 before leaving recovery. Then rebooted.

Worked just fine.
