Before installing maderstcok zip wipe data and cache then install the zip. If after an SBF, boot into stock recovery and wipe data/factory reset.

But if I wipe data and cache, won't that uninstall the Bootstrap recovery tool that I would use to install the maderstcok file? And doesn't running Bootstrap require it to be rooted?

No, you'll already be in clockwork. Boot into clockwork, go to mounts, format data, format cache, install zip from.sd, reboot. If hou get stuck in a bootloop, pull battery, boot into stock recovery and wipe data/factory reset.

Ok, cool. I am doing that now, thanks!

I am hoping that this gets rid of whatever is causing the random reboots. It is quite annoying to have the phone just reboot a few times a day, even when I am not using the phone.
