LG is on a roll releasing official statements regrading rumored devices. Today's new rollout is the LG G2 Mini. LG unveiled the full skinny on their new mid-range/budget device, and here's the scoop:

  • 4.7-inch display - but only a qHD display (960 x 540 res)
  • Two different processor options (probably non-LTE and dual-SIM versions) - Either a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 or a 1.2GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8GB of internal storage
  • A microSD
  • 8MP rear camera
  • 2,440mAh removable battery
  • Android 4.4
  • LG's Optimus UI
The device will be available in black, white, red, or champagne colors. It will first launch in Russia first, then the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and Europe in April. No word on when/if there will be a North American launch at all.
