LG G2 Microphone intermittenly not working

my G2 recently started having microphone issues. callers at times cannot hear me whether I use the phones microphone or either of my 2 Bluetooth ear pieces. I end up having to shut phone off and restart it and it normally will work for a while, but after a time I get the same issue. im guessing its a software issue since its not just the phones microphone that doesn't work. by the way its a Verizon LG G2, and everything else is working fine and im not rooted at all and don't have insurance on it, not eligible for an upgrade until oct. any ideas?

last night I end up doing a factory reset and it seem to fix the issue so far, its a lot of work, backing everything up then reinstalling everything but in the end it was worth it. phone seems quicker and faster too. give it a shot
