The first live pics of the gold-colored LG G2 hit the web today, and they are pretty impressive. Previously, the leaked rendered pics looked rather mediocre; however, this seems like a case of the final "real world" results looking better than the press render. What's really worth noting is the subtle texturing on the case back. It gives the gold a more subdued hue without being overly flashy or gaudy. It also gives the phone an almost "metal-like" quality, even though it is plastic.
