Leeching off wifi tether?

I am away from home and the hotel I am at does not have internet. Is it possible for others to "leech" off my wifi tether? Eww.. leeches are nasty!

Just go into settings and change the ssid name to somethin like EffOffLeechers then set a password lol

I had this same issue as well... except it was my cheep azz neighbors that do not want to pay for internet. (wait.. I'm cheep to haha thats why I use WiFi tether) Anywho... I set a password. And changed the SSID to VirusAlert

just careful because some netgear wireless usb adapters do not connect to the droid when it has a password set.

ive seen some wireless networks around the nyc area that are phone numbers. the idea being you call them, and for 5 bucks a month or whatever they give you the password.
