Leaving Screen on all the Time, Damage?

I have my droid sitting on an ezstand during the day with the screen on. At night I use it as a clock. Usually the only the time the screen is off is when it's in my pocket. Will using the screen so much eventually damage it, or cause it to dim or anything?
