Learning the lingo

Is there a thread anywhere on the forums that could act like a dictionary of terms that are thrown around all the time. I don't know anyone personally who is into rooting, and I really want to be informed as possible before I would even attempt it.

Here check out this link. It has a lot of basics including a root definition and a list of android terms as well. It is a little outdated but it is still a good starting reference point. And then anything you are not sure about you could always ask

There is definitely some good stuff in there and lots more around so read, read, and read some more. Best to be prepared before taking the jump then after so as to avoid issues.
