I'm loving 242 it runs great for me and at this point couldn't care less even if it didn't end up being the OTA. No problems and awesome battery life on the Motorola extended battery with normal use...twitter, Facebook, instagram, a little YouTube, gmail, text, some Slacker radio, and some calls. Its got my vote.

What do you base that on? All I have seen so far is speculation.
I got incredible battery life on .242 the first day I had it. I was at 60% after 20 hours (4G all day, no Wifi, lots of Gtalk and Texts) with extended battery.
Today I'm already down to 90% after 2 hours, with minimal usage. Yesterday it took almost 5 hours to go down 10%. I'm using Gsam battery monitor to give my battery percentages. Has anyone else seen a drop after the first day of .242? Granted this is still about 30-40% better than I ever got on .232.

They said early q3 officially three months ago. They've missed deadlines before...hell, the bionic itself released 9 months after it was officially supposed to.

Interesting. Ok, thanks. I'm now at 72% after 6 hours. Screen time 32 minutes (19% of battery). Android OS (kernel) taking up 62% of the battery. I'll continue to monitor it, but yesterday my usage was much closer to what you're showing.
