Installed the March security patch last night( NCLS24.86-11-4-6-5). So far, all is well. I haven't seen any difference in performance, and the sound is still working.
I got it yesterday too. I noticed last night that text notifications seemed very quiet again so I rebooted and now they seem like they are back to normal. Hopefully it stays that way. I haven't noticed any other glitches yet either.
I just received the same update as you. I'll be downloading it now, and i'll let you know what happens. Since i'm dumping Verizon and this phone, i really don't care whether or not the update screws up the phone, but i still enjoy these forums, and DroidForum in particular.
It's good to see Verizon and Moto provide regular security patches. That will stop when the 2017 Moto Z is released, so enjoy it while we can. [emoji106]
Saw some posts elsewhere that this security patch may have messed up paired Bluetooth devices. I installed it and everything is working fine, no issues. [emoji106]

Just downloaded and updated the May 2017 Security Patch. If you see an update available for your Z Force, it's probably just the May security patch, nothing major. [emoji106]
