Anyone know of a way to change formats a tablet (Samsung) saves screen shots in? If I do the power and home button it saves as a JPG which I can not edit with Samsung photo editor. If I use the pen it saves it in PNG. At this point I'm not rooted but may consider it if it's the best way

I'm surprised you can edit with JPG ..that be the way I'd like my SS to save ..did you try another app to edit ? Photobucket or some other

No. I don't really do much editing. Just writing on or blacking out spots on screenshots before I post on Tapatalk or email.
