Lines in snow?

Cable and phone lines. Broke off from the house. It seems they, the cable/phone companies, used the same anchor and it pulled out.

That's somewhat typical of some lazy utility workers, at least power is typically on its own...

Unfortunately it will probably work out to each side pointing the finger at the other, then saying your facia/attachment point failed and it's your fault...

No. One is att. Another is a local cable company. That will be easy if they blame me, I'll drop them. I only have internet. I can live without it.

Good luck, cable only for TV and Internet here as well, all UG lines, so stormy conditions don't damage, unless we keep getting wet from El Nino, we may just float away

Only new developments around here have ug. After hurricane Sandy destroyed the power grid, we haven't had any issues.

Company is coming out today due to unsafe conditions.

Lol. We have a comedian here.

Called and they said they had a truck rolling today. Got home, line still down, called again and truck is tomorrow now. I still have internet so oh well.

I don't have phone, just internet. It's ATT, COX or Timewarner's hack job that took down my line.

I've got Cox, considering going Internet only, TV, Internet and phone (all Cox) is over $300...

Working on convincing the boss to cut the cord, got Hulu, showed her it works well, we never watch live shows except news occasionally. ... I told her, $300 a month buys lots of shoes over the year, actually $240 as we need Internet for Hulu etc, so time will tell...
