Sand is good win, but we live at the sand, so mountains and forests works well here.

My wife loves and lives for the beach as well, but she be gettin her fill in the weeks/months to come...

Being raised in Sandyeggo, and living on the beach for my college/party years, I don't mind not being there. I've surfed, scuba dived and fished here all my life, but I'm more of a mountain man now. On our honey moon in Kauai, we had one day we split up/not literally, but she got here 100% lay on beach day, and I got my hike on the Na Pali coast trail. We both loved it.

I'm just wanting to swap coasts, not 100% no beach, wife wants to live on a lake next, so she'll have some "beach/water".

Salty smell is nice to return to, that's for sure. It's funny, you only notice it after being gone for a while. Maybe after being away for awhile I'll love it again. If I move east, we'll keep the San Diego property, heck we have to retire here [emoji14]

So true!!....I really notice the salty smell when I come back as well!
