I got one of my own. 19, starting nursing school. I accepted the fact that I'm a wuz when it comes to saying no to her a long time ago. Turned out to be a smart, productive, funny, young lady. I still made her buy her 1st car though. No way I was paying for that

I concur, my wife's ex bought the kids cars, #1 oldest, son, went through 5, #2, daughter, through 2, youngest daughter still on her first.

Our youngest wants / wanted my F350 4x diesel, but after learning that it costs $100+- to fill it, and it gets -15mpg she decided maybe not... She drove it for the first time last weekend, and still likes it... Looks like I'm going to have to run it by her for first dibs if I ever sell it...
My oldest has already requested an *puke*....iphone....for his bday in Oct....I think he may get the old Bionic....
