LOL, now that's funny, since good tasting fries are not always were we think they are.
We certainly had an assortment, good, mediocre and bland, certainly not bad. But, they don't use ketchup like we do, available but not used much, they use mayonnaise, their mayo, yummy mayo, but that's also a "by taste" thing.
More info you don't want, but for what it's worth, potato fries came from Belgium originally.
Yes, we make homemade mayo now that my wife has us GF, soy free, somewhat dairy free, some hard cheese OK and I still sneak ice cream on occasion. She does it for total health reasons, I do because I like what she cooks.
Calvados is good, I have several different home made brandy's, apple, pear, and others and alcohol's, very hot 150 proof, from my last visits to family in France, this trip however was a faster Paris only trip to celebrate our 15yr engagement, in Paris, and to show my step daughter our city.
