I love hot, although I catch hell if my wife catches me... 4 days in ICU from a bleeding ulcer due to hot peppers and energy drinks, kinda made her upset...
No more all the time hot and definitely no energy drinks...
Heck living 30 miles from Mexico, there is such a variety of yummy Mexican and they all have so many good peppers...

Yeah, there is a difference in levels of hot with certain restaurants and/or brands of hot sauce. Some hot is definitely medium in heat and some medium would be considered hot in my experience. Its a crap shoot.

Whoever coined the phrase crap shoot....Do you think they were being literal and actually shooting at crap, or were they in a casino perhaps?

Habanero peppers are good, but must be prepared so they're not simply hotter than hell...
There's other peppers that are hotter, but if you can't taste the food, why do it?
