Anybody know when Google Books got the ability to sync between devices? Kindle had it years ago & Books didn't forever. Just checked yesterday & the book I'm currently reading on my tablet opened to the right area on my phone.

I had to stop selling books through various outlets because you couldn't side-load to Google Books and that was the preferred reading app for a lot of people. Making them Kindle exclusives made sense at the time. Are they allowing sideload now? If so, have you ever checked out Project Gutenburg?

Gutenburg is a nice project -- they're digitally formatting and storing every book they can find that's out of copyright for free download. www.gutenberg.org
It's where the books you get free from Amazon and Barnes and Noble and Google (Dracula, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, etc) originally came from.

i hate this keyboard so much... Lenovo really dropped the ball on this laptop, and it's a shame with their old reputation for excellent keyboards. That's good news about the side-loading. I'll have to look into it.

Yep its sunshine alright mid 70's, it's going to be a good day
We're only supposed to get into the teens today AND today is supposed to be the warmest day this week until at least the weekend, but the sun is almost kinda shining today, so I won't complain too hard.
