I live like 3 minutes from work. Now that I'm IT Director and can remote in to do just about anything, I'm wondering if I can take advantage of a snow day...Thinking probably not. Might have to use the stepson having one as an excuse to work from home sometime...Half my city is on Snow Day but I'm still at work....... win?
You'd think it'd be that simple, but since there are still some things that required me to be on site to fix & because nursing homes don't close for a little bit of snow, that might be easier said than done. Now, when I get the new phone system installed that can automatically transfer to my cell if I don't answer my office phone, that's another story...You're IT. Tell them if they want their equipment to remain running without interruptions they should not expect you in the office on a snow day.
