Yes, lots of back & forth lately in this thread about favorite drinks. All in good fun. [emoji106] [emoji41]

Did mine over Verizon data, could be your data plan.

There were posts here on DF back in December from Nexus users questioning the WiFi only prompt, they had to use WiFi only. Then I thought I could download it over 4G also....No-Go. The Moto X Pure and Turbo 2 both prompted that the download would only continue over WiFi. I thought that was standard for all Marshmallow updates, but maybe Sammy figured out a way to let you download over 4G / LTE?

I always figured that was to save data, and I typically try to download large filed at home on my Wi-Fi, but I was bored at work, so I clicked Download and it worked.

Coffee is good! [emoji477] [emoji106] And....I made it the whole drive to work without dealing with a single idiot driver. That's a win any day! [emoji2] [emoji592] [emoji102]

Samsung has always allowed you to download updates over 3G/4G/LTE.
(Just another reason to stick with a Sammy) [emoji12]

S5 tap'n

Motorola has also, up until MM. I downloaded every other OS update over cell data until this one. I was under the impression that all phones had to be on WiFi to download MM, but apparently that was wrong. So far it seems like Nexus and Moto phones had to be on WiFi for the MM download. Not sure why though? In the end as long as it downloads and works...enjoy some sticky Marshmallow sweetness.
