I have no clue how to carry the last 3 posts. So I'll go with....
Win
Oh yeah..... KABLAM!
(cut me some slack here.... 0230 in the early morning) :)

This was a bad one. Had to go to the ER and everything. I had a shot of Toradol, Morphine, and a double dose of Benadryl (to reduce swelling). It took 5 hours in the ER to be stable so I could go home.

I still feel like poo, but am functional FTW!

That stinks, my wife takes some kind of Horse Tranq, knocks her out all day or night.
But, she recent went Gluten, dairy, corn free, and hasn't had one in 6 months... Maybe that's for you?

Nope. I used to get them weekly. Now I get them almost biannually. I refuse to give up said things for something that happens too infrequently.

If it happens this bad again, I will consider it though. I have been under a lot of stress recently.

It isn't so much about eating like a human. If you look at the crap they put in today's food, you may consider going that route after. I just don't see the need, at this point in time, to make that big of a change.

One of the chemo regimens I give causes migraines, bad ones. I know for a fact that toradol really does nothing, morphine helps a little. May I suggest you speak with your primary doc about a prescription for fioricet or imitrex. Both r designed for migraine headaches and work better than morphine. That way you avoid a trip 2 the E R 2 times per year. Beware.... Imitrex is the one that knocks you out.
I'm an oncology RN, inpatient, in a hospital whose name you'd recognize. I deal with pain secondary to cancer all day long.
I guess the previous paragraph is there to establish credibility for the one before that.
Glad u r feeling better today
Oh yeah...... WIN!!! :)
