That's because the strain that's going around wasn't included in the vaccine this year. In order to make enough vaccine each year, they have to make an educated guess as to which strains will be buggers the next year way ahead of time. They failed this year.

On a side note, I can't wait until the construction is done here so I can have an office that I don't get kicked out of when a doctor comes to see people or video-conference.

I don't like being displaced, but I like my job.
