keyboard lights

Last night I wanted to send an e-mail and my lights were off in the room, no problem I said beacuse the keyboard is back lit. Well to my surprise I could not see the keys they were not lighting up.

Anyone else have this issue?

IIRC people reported this after the 2.0.1 update. Here's one thread on the topic....

Go to settings, sound and display, brightness, and then uncheck and recheck "automatic brightness". If that doesn't fix it, try a reboot and then a battery pull.

Does that fix the issue or does it need to be done weekly?

That should fix the issue. After the 2.0.1 update, a lot of us were having this problem. The first suggestion worked for me and it hasn't happened again since then. Let us know if it works for you!

Thank you for this thread. I did not even notice the keyboard was no longer lit up.
