DROID RAZR MAXXIMIZED!!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED!!!

Thanks for the info.

I have tried screen filter. It has a setting for backlights on but it does not seem to work on the droid 4 ( not rooted)

Well that's disappointing news.... This will probably just be another aggravating thing they never get right........ I think i can do it if I root but I am not ready to do that yet....

backlight issue solved?

Well I think I have this back light thing figured out. I put a tiny piece of black electricians tape over the sensor, which is located next to the letter 'a' of Motorola on my Droid 4. And now after sliding the keyboard up and waiting for a few seconds, it seems to stay on. I am hopefully optimistic for now....What a pain this has been. Geez
