Keep getting market updates and installs unsuccessful!

It only happens on some apps. It won't let me install angry birds. Getting frustrated I uninstalled market updates and rebooted. When the phone turned back on the updates were already there. I'm not rooted and haven't even tried that route. Any help would b very appreciated. Thanks
