K9 Mail (Messages Greyed out)

I use the K9 mail client and have noticed that some of the messages have a grey shade on them. I have tried everything to get this to go away and nothing works. Does anyone know what causes this and how to get rid of it?

Gray messages are partially downloaded. You can go into k9's settings to increase the portion to download to 2MB and you should see fewer/no gray messages.

You're welcome. K9 sorely needs a user manual or help system.

By the way, increasing your amount to download to 2MB can cause battery drain because K9 has to download all that data. It might be a negligible amount of battery drain but if you get a ton of emails with large attachments, it'll obviously take a greater toll on your battery. My point is, try keeping the setting as low as you can if you get a ton of emails with attachments and you'll save some juice.
