Softtail here and I just got my new droid x and am a rookie when it comes to using the operating system. If its pretty much like a computer , I hope to catch on quickly. thanks in advance for any help I receive from you droid/android pro's dancedroid

Hi softail, and :welcome: to the Forum.

It is pretty much like a computer but not like a Windows computer. There are some differences and as you spend time here you'll find out more, specially if you want to root or add an apk file. It's not as powerful as a computer but there are lots of stuff you can do with the right app. If you have questions ask, we are here to help.
