Got mine last Sunday after saturating my X with WD40. Really love the Maxx.

Best all around phone to date!Congrats! Definitely a great phone and the battery life is amazing...are you still stock or have rooted & ROM'd and / or flashed the ICS leak?
Still running stock - think I might wait until the official ICS is released to root it. I've been getting amazing battery life; I'm at around 40% or so and I took it off the charger on the 4th at 7pm. Such an incredible upgrade from the X2. Looking forward to ICS, that's for sure.

Oh, no...I get it, he was using the WD40 like a honing oil and he was sharpening the phone on a whetstone in an attempt to turn the X INTO a RAZR! Now it all makes sense! :rofl3:
But seriously, I am truly happy for you lhardeman56 that after all that, you got the RAZR MAXX. It is a great phone, a real game-changer, and will certainly go down in history (along with its baby brother and cousin the D4) as the most innovative phone of its time. Congratulations, but it's a shame the X suffered such a slippery demise (I couldn't resist!).

I agree with you. The razr/maxx are awesome devices. And i personally have used this device to bring 4 people over from the dark side.

I concur. Besides, the OP wasn't the person who mentioned the WD40 on his X, it was lhardeman56 (above), so we weren't even poking fun over the OP's comments...and lhardeman56, the same goes for you.
We (Agent 94 and myself) were poking fun at each other to keep it light here. As Secret Agents, we have a lot of stress in our lives. Working for CONTROL is both a blessing and a burden. Fortunately for me, I have Agent 99 to keep me company. 94 is an extreme operative and works alone (his wife knows nothing about his "other life"), so to help him deal with the stress he and I often poke fun back and forth. It's all in good fun! :biggrin:
And on a more serious note, both my wife and I have the RAZR, bought a few months before the MAXX was introduced. Had I known the MAXX was coming I'd have waited. You have a great phone and it's everything the RAZR is, but with the added benefit of a huge powerhouse. Sure, it may be a bit thicker, but some have commented that the extreme thinness of the RAZR makes it somewhat difficult to hold and a bit uncomfortable in the hands - like carrying a Razor Blade by the edges (pun intended), where the thicker form factor of the MAXX coupled with the extreme battery life makes it an even better phone than the RAZR. If I had the chance to upgrade, I'd do it.
Now that I have the RAZR, I'm waiting to see the next phones coming from Motorola. If it's quad-core and it's anywhere as nicely built as the RAZR, that may be my next phone.
