Hello all,

I want to say thanks in advance, and here's my issue.

I just got my 1st Droid phone used and it's an HTC Thunderbolt rooted with the "Infected" ROM. I was originally thinking of unrooting back to factory, but I fell in love with the root, so I am trying to figure out how to update the version. Here's what I run now.

Android Version 2.3.4
HTC Sense 3.5
Software #: 2.11.605.5
PRI Version: 1.41_002, 1.64_002
PRL Version: 15109

Is there a "better" root out there? How do I install a new root weather it's an Infected update or something else?

Thanks!

That's probably the best there is.

Theres plenty of information out there on how to flash new roms. Im not real familiar with HTC products so I'll let someone else fill you in there... but youll usually be using a recovery to flash an update zip. Which im assuming is already installed due to being on a custom rom already. Jump in and read is aboit the best advice I could throw your way right now... have fun!
