Just experienced LTE for the first time and...

Wow, its really, really fast. I'm on my way up to New York from Maryland, and passing through Baltimore I was getting 28 mbps down and 14 up. Its incredible! I've truly realized how awesome my Rezound is, when its supercharged with this blazingly fast network technology! So the point of this thread is, what was your first experience like and what kind of speeds do you get?

My first experience was shortly after the Bionic launched. At the time, I had the iPhone 4, so I was used to 3G speeds up to that time. I was at the Verizon kiosk, checking the Bionic out. The fact that the data speed exceeded my home internet connection blew my mind so completely that within a week, i'd purchased a Bionic. Typical speeds for me are ~15-20 down/~5-20 up and that's pretty reliable. I've never seen it actually run slow.

first experience was when I picked up my Nexus. The speeds blew my mind and that I was still paying the same price as when I had 3g. Verizon could've easily tacked on another $15 to a 4g data plan just for the speed alone, but I'm grateful that they didn't AND let me keep my unlimited. The change in speed had so much effect on how I use my phone that I went from averaging 2gb to 6gb a month:hail:

Hence my purchase of the Bionic. The sheer speed of LTE made me feel ripped off, paying the same for 3G. I was up for contract renewal, and figured i'd better do something fast to ensure being grandfathered. Ended up getting my Bionic for $249, sold my iPhone 4 to a college student in need for the great price of $250 - so I broke even, and got an upgrade to dual core and 4G.

Mine was sitting at work and looked and seen the 4 G pop up with just 2 bars of 4G I was way faster then 5 bars of 3G. My only problem it's very spotty still.
