Jrummy overclock switches profiles slowly

I have my profiles set so that the cpu's frequency in the "screen off" profile has a max and min of 300 and the "screen on" profile has a min of 300 and a max of 1000. When i wake up and unlock the phone the overclock widget displays the "screen off" profile for about 5 seconds before switching to the "screen on" profile. This results in serious lag for a few seconds.

Does anyone else have this problem? And a way to fix it? Thanks.

I changed my screen off profile to 300 min 600 max and it seemed to solve the problem, i will see if it has any effect on the increase in battery life i had with it set to 300 300.
