Joined the forum for the wrong reason

Hi everybody,

I'm sorry but probably joined the forum only to complain. I simply can't stand the whining women commercial and would not purchase a droid based on that alone. I'm sure the droid is a great device but they should terminate the persons employment who came up with such a degrading and annoying ad. The ad got my attention in a very negative way. It's so bad I mute or change the station everytime the ad appears. Sorry to vent but it's got to be one of the worse ads ever.

I think that commercial has made a similar impact with many ...but don't let that affect your decision for getting a Droid as there are alot of good phones out there!

Yes, most of us find that commercial quite annoying and very insulting. Can't wait for Mother's day to be done with so that ad can go away. There is a whole thread dedicated to people's opinions about that ad. Go to http://www.droidforums.net/forum/off-topic-forum/206938-blubbering-whining-women.html for a little fun to see what android users think about it. Please don't judge android owners or android phones because of that commercial. Do judge Verizon for thinking it was a great idea, lol!

Honestly, I kind of chuckle in reaction to what the guy says/does at the end. But I guess it's just me...

They've actually edited/updated that commercial, no more subtitles and less mumbling. Still annoying though lol.
