JB problems with outgoing texts using WiFi ?

Just noticed this.... for some reason since I took the OTA .16 build of Jelly Bean (regular RAZR XT912), now basic text messages won't go out on WiFi, have to have Data enabled for them to transmit.

Previously, MMS needed the data on obviously, but regular text messages were fine on WiFi.

Anyone else having this issue?

I checked and I have LTE/CDMA selected as the mobile network.

I have three different APNs listed now though:
- Verizon CDMA HRPD
- VZWINTERNET
- VZWINTERNET

Looking into the details of all 3, they appear to be the same.

My Razr sends text w/o data turned on. If I send photos I need data turned on.

Well, after changing APNs several times and testing it out with an AT&T 4G ifone in one hand, my VZW Droid RAZR in the other --- texting over the Wifi appears to work like before (i.e. mobile data turned off). So all is well.... it seems...
