Java not supported?

I am new to Droid Razr and I thought the browser supported java. However, when I go to a particular website that I like I get an error saying "It seems java is not installed (or disabled) on your computer." Is anyone else having a problem with websites that require java? Any fixes?
Thanks...arniep

As far as I know, no smart phone supports Java applets. (As a side note, many Androids do support Adobe Flash.)

The only workaround I know of is to use a VNC program to access your home computer and then view the Java applet that way.
