I've lost access to my SD Card

New Droid X user and all of a sudden, I've lost access to the SD card. Says its not present.
Somehow I've manage to turn off the access and can't get it turned back on. Need help.

kk, second try:

If you go into menu > settings > sd card and phone storage, what does it say?
Also, when you plug your phone into your computer can you access your sd cards files?

Just a few things as this is a pretty odd problem.

Thanks for the reply: I found the problem.
I guess the Droid X won't acknowledge the presence of the SD card when your plugged into the desktop with the USB cable. I removed the cable and alls well again.
I've had the Droid for X for 2 days and had a half dozen problems, none of them Droid's fault, just my inexperience and my learning curve. <g>
