Items waiting to upload

My notification bar keeps telling me that I have items waiting to upload, wi-fi is off or unavailable. What have I done to start this up?

Do you have a program that is set to Wifi only? Like the play store you can go into the settings and tell it to update over Wifi only.

Same thing for Dropbox in case you use that. I could be wrong but would be something to check.

Not sure if you're on ICS yet, but go into your Motocast settings and make sure it's not set to automatically upload. That's the default and will give you that message. If you uncheck the box it will go away.
